Im figuring out that as the injection works its way through my system I feel better. It seems like three hours after we do it, it starts hurting and continues to gradually get worse for about 10 hours and then its just muscle soreness. I've realized if there is a positive to the pain it definitely keeps my mind off of the pregnancy.
I don't know if anyone has told you this, but we used on ice on the injection site just a few minutes before I had the injection. It really helped with the pain. Before that I would cry even before the injection anticipating the pain. I just held it there to numb it and then Kyle gave me the shot. This was definitely our saving grace for pain! We will continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers! Hang in there!
